Platchen Backen Time: The schwestern got together and made these fun sacks, then we filled them with "kuchen" (cookies). We gave them to some less-actives and elderly, and to our dear Schwester Luke who is in a senior care home.
The Brothers came for the FOOD, not necessarily to help. I guess this is the same in every country!! BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

  1. Looks like Christmas is all about doing for others no matter what country you are serving in. The bags are adorable and after reviewing your earlier blogs I'm sure the kuchens were delicious. You are such a blessing to these schwestern that you will always be dear to them. Thank-you for sharing these thoughts and pictures throughout your mission. It makes us feel as if we are apart of your new world. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. I would have to agree with Linda that Christmas is all about serving others no matter where you serve. I have noticed that you have served your branch with much love, time and trips to the Temple. Well done faithfull servants of the Lord. The Lord be with you and bless you with his spirit these last months on your mission. Bob and Susan
