This warm, genuine soul, Brother Aeurus, has brought along with him his posterity into the gospel. He and Richard were like brothers again, meeting after 50+ years. We felt of his gratitude for a missionary that came into his life, and made a difference for many.
This photo is one of Brother Aeurus's family. What a great posterity for him, and a knowledge that
"The One" counts!

"How great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!"

"And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!" D&C 18: 13, 16

The Petersburg Tower, also taken from our balcony, is a peaceful way to say goodnight...

Then the morning view from our balcony is marvelous. This early morning photo with the sun touching the red roof tops reminds me of a childhood song:

Good Morning Merry Sunshine
how did you wake so soon
You scared away the little stars
and freightened away the moon.
I saw you go to bed last night
before I said my prayers
Oh where have you been hiding
and why did you go there?

I went to see the children
the children of the East
for they were waiting there for me
to rise them from their sleep.

And when they said goodnight to me
I came to you at dawn
I always love the morning hours
for they bring joy and song.
The 24th of July is even celebrated here in Germany! I made these fun coloring booklets for the kinder in our branch. There are about 8 pages of pioneer memories, with covered wagons, handcarts, plowing, campfires etc. for the kinder to color. I'm really grateful for the church internet site, that gives us so much. The Friend site is of GREAT help. We do not have libraries to depend on, so the church web site is heaven sent.

Hanky-Hanky who has the Hanky??? Plus throw the plane at the target and get points. They loved the games and had so much fun as families. We can all be grateful for the inspiration of prophets who taught us to have family home evenings. They truly keep a family close together.

We enjoy having the two families in our gemeinde (branch) over for Heim Abend every few months. We meet at the branch. We plan a meal and a lesson, that the Elders teach, and then play games. This has been a big hit with these two families. Grace really did not eat all of this, but her Dad finished it.

Sister Klee celebrated two birthdays with us. Andrea and Brandon have the same birthday's. We went to her place for our weekly dinner, and she had made a cake. She did not know that we were celebrating the birthday's but when she brought out the cake I told her, and she went and got two candles. We sang Happy Birthday for them across the miles. (I look pretty tired here, and to tell you the truth I WAS)

We (had) a door with a large glass in the middle. One day the wind caught hold of it and slammed it shut taking the whole section of glass and spraying it down our 8 foot hallway. This was not safety glass. So very large knife-like pieces went charging down the hallway. We were grateful and blessed, that we where not in the hallway when this happened. I don't want to even think about that one. The Elders were there too, and they pitched in to clean up the jagged works.

When people move out of their wohnung, or apartments, they have to scrape all of the wallpaper off ceilings and walls. We and the Elders worked for 5 hours. We did get most of this project done.
(sorry these two pics I've posted before)

The end results--weary bones. Sister Kuper has been working on moving for a full month, and she was grateful for our help.

After a short lesson in Primary, we enjoy the play dough. This is Ben who gets into the action.
