- We have always wanted to serve a mission together, and now we are "really" going. Our departure date is Sept. 7th. We have 4 incredible children, who in turn have given us 14 wonderful grandchildren. We love where we live, and have some outstanding friends. Yes I love the vacuum on the wall,I wonder if the common people in Madagascar have a vacuum. I don't think they do, I think they use a broom.I know they have a TV and a radio, but no heaters to warm them when it gets cold. Love the pictures.
